I found it more convenient to use normal re-chargeable batteries, because I used to use it a lot for my work, so could just change to a fresh set of re-chargeables (which I always had with me) in a few seconds, rather than losing use of the camera while it was re-charged.

Anyway Jamie, sounds like a nice camera you've got there at a bargain price.
I'm sure we're all looking forward to seeing the photos you'll be taking with it.
