Hovis bakery workers in Wigan strike

i don't think this has been posted about before, no more crumpet for some, they've used their loaf and gone for strike action, everyone should get a decent slice of the pie

More than 200 production staff at Wigan's Hovis bakery have begun a week-long strike in a row over contracts and pay.

... no doubt hoping to "earn a half decent crust", by their way of it!

I think it's a half-baked idea, there simply was no knead and who's gonna be the breadwinner now?

I stopped buying Hovis bread the day after the photo of the dead mouse in their granary loaf was published a few years ago and haven't touched it since. Taking industrial action is yet another nail in the coffin .......... or slice in the bag!
