Lordna... How about a little more parity and equal rights between countries.. I mean,what do these highly paid British diplomats do for their salaries and expense accounts abroad?
Here in the R.P we as Brits cannot own land,yet in the UK my wife as a Filipino has the same rights as I..

My wife doesn't.. She thinks that British people are being Royally screwed!

I agree with her.

Maybe parity and equal rights between countries would be a good idea BUT not if it means erosion of the freedom we enjoy here that our fathers etc have fought hard for. Interesting thought but i believe a separate issue to the banning of burqas here in the UK.

Are you talking about the same fathers who turned in their graves after seeing these hard fought for freedoms abused by the likes of Hamza, Qatada and other proponents of the burka ?
