just checked the site again and i am happy paying that amount, its a 4 hour drive down to Dover and catching the 8am ferry, i think its wise to travel down the day before and try to get some sleep before the next 4 hour drive into france
£42 is pretty good for that close to Dover.
You might find the Dover one is used for so called "asylum seekers" straight off the lorries
