    Cumbrian man died just after marriage in Philippines



    A Workington man who was waiting for the woman he married to come over to England from abroad died before she arrived in the country.

    so what happens now ?I take it that she no longer is allowed to enter u.k .what about attending his funeral ?very sad case indeed.

    I was tempted to say he died of over excitment, but its not somthing to joke about.
    He would have been happy knowing she was going to join him here.
    But she is left in the lurch now!

    I would have thought as she is not in the UK and no longer married to a British citizen she couldn't apply for a settlement visa to the uk,

    thou maybe she could apply for a visit visa due to compassionate circumstances to attend his funeral.

    it could be hereditary, his father died of a heart attack in his 50's too
