    Good.

One of the ghastliest crimes I've ever heard of. That poor girl.

Maybe others will think twice now. It's the only way.

1st verdict.......long way to go yet. Many appeals.
Hopefully all appeals will be rejected.

Heard on the news this morning that in India there's a reported rape every 20 minutes.

He needs hanging for his total lack of due care and attention then, nevermind his cowardice in not assisting the victim.

true graham but remember there were 4 of them what could he do against 4 guys they may have turned on him .but if he was innocent its not nice to hang is it .The 17 year old should hang too coz he was the evil one that shoved a metal bar up the poor girl and he gets away with 3 years ,how screwed up is that ?

Yes, I suppose it was a knee-jerk reaction on my part, without researching the facts of the case properly. I certainly agree with you as far as the 17 year-old is concerned, and his despicable act.

However, there was nothing to prevent the bus driver stopping for help if he was aware of what was going on (unless he was a part of it of course). So, still unforgiveable in my book.

The driver was complicit in the crime - string him up & the 17 year old
