If i go this route as a sponsor how much should I have in my bank before applying as sponsor for her to live with me in my house for 6 months .as she is a homemaker here and I pay for everything will they grant it.

There's no specified amount.
UKBA just expect that there is sufficient funding for HER for the total duration of the trip.
