Hong Kong has roughly 300,000 domestic helpers, largely from the Philippines and Indonesia, but also from Nepal, India and Pakistan.
They are not entitled to a minimum wage and are excluded from other basic rights and services.

Unfortunately a lot of the locals do tend to treat Filipinas like pieces of
Disgraceful.
They have short memories too...considering that when the Brits originally took over HK, the existing population was tiny, and most of those there now are descendants of poor peasant farmers and 'refugees' who flocked in from the mainland.
A bit more humility, humanity and respect is in order I think.
