But it seems like this story is having the opposite effect to that which the Daily Mail intended. I've never really rated Ed Miliband, but he's gone up in my estimation with his response to this. That also seems to be the general reaction in other sections of the media.
Anyone would defend their dad. Nothing to get worked up about, and certainly not likely to win Millipede any votes.
