    Freight (boxes) to Cavite

    Me again..

I've got about 10 jumbo balikbayan boxes going back to Philippines
    (Cavite)

I've spoken to the guy who always used to forward our boxes and he still wants £120 per box (Jumbo size)

I've looked at freight forwarders and for 10 boxes each weighing 30 kilo total price is £800-00

Now with BalikBayan I can load them up to my hearts content, weight is not a concern
Buts thats a hellava difference between freight and BalikBayan
Nooo I'm not a kuripot, but £400 squid is £400 squid

Any one got any other ideas how to ship my stuff from Kent to Philippines?

10 boxes is quite a lot of freight.
Too much to send on a weight basis and probably too costly to send all at once as Balikbayan Boxes.

May I kindly suggest that you consider utilising a specialist shipping companies with a view to paying by volume only and letting them ship for you. Usually you'll get a ship within a few days without the need to wait around to 'share' a container.

Just as example click on this link 1st Move International (ShipIt) and look around their site.
Hopefully it will be helpful for you. You only pay per the exact volume of your shipment(s)
