I need your advice, is it better to go to VFS to collect your visa and documents or have it posted to you? What have you guys done as regards that? Or do you have to appear in person to collect it?

If you can afford for your wife to travel to manila 1 night in a hotel and fly back I suppose you could send her to pick it up. Delivery takes approx 2 days.
I think that most folks here have opted for courier delivery.
Can't remember a case where it didn't arrive.
As Andy says though....if you have the budget then collection from VFS
There's no mandatory requirement for personal collection
I always have mine delivered by the courier... No problem at all
