So as you all know, we don't have super cold winter here in the Philippines. Coldest temp I've personally experienced was 16C! How do you people in the UK spend your winter time?

It's mostly indoor activities, which would explain why most birthdays in the northern hemisphere occur from July to December
Apart from that, it's business as usual work sleep and play..
Start a family tree and you have a hobby whatever the weather or month

Mostly I tend to the plants in my sunny heated loft area.
We just usually stay indoors. I like snuggling under the duvet, but I can't do that whole day everyday! Hahaha... If it's snowing, I like watching it and taking videos of it. But as much as possible, we just stay in the house unless we'd go shopping. Good thing the forum is here and I have my guinea pigs to keep me busy.

Well ... ... in my case, it's more what I'd like to do (and I suspect most of us living in would!) i.e., hibernate - in order to escape MASSIVE heating bills.
