Pray labour don't get back in and borrow loads more and land us in the cart again
.
Mortgages will be going up soon then
Well house prices are!
Anyway lets be pleased at last things looking brighter
i am pleased its the weekend
pitty you didn't look at the graph les, gdp grew under labour every year they were in power until the WORLD BANKING CRASH of 2008 (which you blame labour for ) , and it started to recover again under labour in 2009 and 2010
since then it has gone neg 4 times under the bullingdon boys
i think labour have a much better chance of winning the next election than untied have of winning the premiership , you want a bet
Its all a con.. Labour will get back in.. Thatcher was destroyed by the poll tax and Cameron will be by the bedroom tax.
The poll tax was for everybody...The bedroom tax is for folks in social housing.....Most don't live in social housing Andy
Watch and learn.
I certainly do blame labour for not managing our economy and monitoring the banks, for all the crazy mass immigration, for creating more benefits than ever before, for selling off our gold reserves at a knock down price, for creating a culture of sod it no need to work lets claim benifits, for two crazy wars, and based on all that the public agreed-they got rid of the pitiful shower
Unfortunately as I said before due to labour we now have to pay back all we owe and the general public whom many have no interest in politics do not see the bigger picture and will probably vote Labour and then we really will be in the .... even more
Your entitled to your opinion les. But the tories have made too many cuts too fast and thats the problem. No way the tories will get tories/lib dem will get back in.
That may be true but I still think they were needed at some point, they wont get back in as the general public don't look long term-if you said to someone on benefits the looney party would give you an extra £5 a week they would get the vote-no matter what it does to the general economy-that's how it is I'm afraid
You cant take money on low income or people on benefits at that rate and expect to get a vote. Ok the tories will raise the income level to £10000 before you pay tax but when you add up the rise in cost of living eg energy rises and food prices rents etc they havint give them anything.
i see you will not take my bet
what about thatcher and the economy record unemployment sold everything off
what did the tories do about monitoring banks ?? Micheal foot wanted to monitor the banks and people laughed at him, how right he was , what did the tory press call his manifesto the longest suicide note in history
don't you remember the yuppies and the greed that thatcher brought ??
i'll help you out stats master SimonH
oh look under the great thatcher this capitalist wealth creator, record levels of unemployment from when she came into power in 1979 until she was kicked out in 1990 but this carried on under major
From whom
We all know of someone on benefits etc etc. ..The fact is they don't represent the Great British electorate. ...going by your analogy, if the Government reduced benefits it would be a vote loser. ..yes, I would of lost child benefit this time around. .I won't be losing sleep over it. ..or the tax credits as that went out the window at 32k. ..I haven't been there for a good number of years. ...I've never had any of that. ..watch and learn. ..This is the real world
slight edit, excuse me
Joe, once again you are correct in some respects, you see I was only 12 in 1979 so thank you for addressing me be my correct title
Personally I'd like to see a broader graph so we could get a better overall perspective Let's say from 1900 to 2013
So how did Labour get in for 13 years? Answer that one. And why will they get in again?
