    Good news

Am I correct in thinking this won't be the BBC's or the Guardians lead story ? Buried away amongst the Coffee Break Crosswords on page 29 I suspect

pitty you didn't look at the graph les, gdp grew under labour every year they were in power until the WORLD BANKING CRASH of 2008 (which you blame labour for ) , and it started to recover again under labour in 2009 and 2010

since then it has gone neg 4 times under the bullingdon boys

i think labour have a much better chance of winning the next election than untied have of winning the premiership , you want a bet

I certainly do blame labour for not managing our economy and monitoring the banks, for all the crazy mass immigration, for creating more benefits than ever before, for selling off our gold reserves at a knock down price, for creating a culture of sod it no need to work lets claim benifits, for two crazy wars, and based on all that the public agreed-they got rid of the pitiful shower
Unfortunately as I said before due to labour we now have to pay back all we owe and the general public whom many have no interest in politics do not see the bigger picture and will probably vote Labour and then we really will be in the .... even more

That may be true but I still think they were needed at some point, they wont get back in as the general public don't look long term-if you said to someone on benefits the looney party would give you an extra £5 a week they would get the vote-no matter what it does to the general economy-that's how it is I'm afraid

You cant take money on low income or people on benefits at that rate and expect to get a vote. Ok the tories will raise the income level to £10000 before you pay tax but when you add up the rise in cost of living eg energy rises and food prices rents etc they havint give them anything.

what did the tories do about monitoring banks ?? Micheal foot wanted to monitor the banks and people laughed at him, how right he was , what did the tory press call his manifesto the longest suicide note in history

don't you remember the yuppies and the greed that thatcher brought ??

    slight edit, excuse me

Joe, once again you are correct in some respects, you see I was only 12 in 1979 so thank you for addressing me be my correct title
Personally I'd like to see a broader graph so we could get a better overall perspective Let's say from 1900 to 2013

So how did Labour get in for 13 years? Answer that one. And why will they get in again?
