    Annulment in days?

My girlfriend (of 3 years) is currently separated from her husband - and wants to seek annulment. Her friend told her she knows someone that can complete an annulment in a month, or even in days.

I have read a little about annulments, and it seems a long drawn process that can take months at best. The people say they can do it for 200k pesos (about £2100).

The fact is, we currently have a court case ongoing after her husband's family listed her as a mother to an illegitimate child. That court case has been ongoing for two months, so annulment in a month seems a little fanciful.

Have any of you heard of something like this?

    Thanks

    Ady

For a start you'd still have to finish the case with the kid, why need a court case anyway? A simple DNA check would have solved it.

Never heard of quickie annulments, sounds like a rip-off.

I have not experienced going though annulment in phill so no expert.

But when people say they have a miracle cure and quote you a price straight offf be careful as no one case is the same. This counts for buliders to lawyers.

I am sure that if you get a good lawyer, good timing and if the city or court where the case is filed is not againts nullity of marriage then it would only took a few months. Good Luck then Jonnijon!

[QUOTE=itsme_iye;46315]Hi Jonnijon, That is a big amount P75K for a downpayment. Were you given a specific time when to receive the final decree?
I know someone who filed for her annulment for P180K, (two installments) and got the fnality after 10 months. Another for P170K for 7 months.
Did you avail of the package deal?
Anyway, i wish you the best of luck..

I know a lawyer who charged only 80,000 pesos for the professioal fee. 15,000 pesos for the Psychologist,5,000 for processing fee and filing fee and 2,000 pesos for lawyer`s appearance fee every hearing. Extra 30,000 to speed up things.

For those whose planning to get an annulment, make sure you are dealing with the right person, double check the background of the lawyer and the one whose specialise in Annulment much better.

    Come On!

annulment in a day or a month!
you can have it along recto!

but if u like it legal, then consult a lawyer and go to court!

court fees depend on the location.
manila lawyers have their own set of legal rates,
the same is true with the lawyers of say
    baguio, cebu or davao, etccc

So doing it in, say, a month will not be legal. And, chances are, the embassy will refuse any visas.

Now to convince her that this is the best way. She reckons it will take 4 years but lots I read are 7-8 months.

Does anyone know of any good lawyers in Davao?

Here in baguio and neighboring benguet, annulment cases would take about a year because of the volume of cases. It all depends on the place where you will be filing the case. Some, like a court located in a northern town, would be faster, 5 to 8 months.

    Hi Familylawyer,
I thought filing a case in the province would take faster compared to filing it in Metro Manila. I've heard of a case in Batangas City takes only 4 months and a Court in Manila takes 7-10 months. As to fees they are somewhat the same, so to facilitate a case it depends on factors such as: lawyer's capabilities and charm, petitioners pocket full of cash and of course grounds for annulment.

True...cases in the provincial courts are faster because of the case load they have. Fees actually depends on the ground for annulment and if the lawyer felt he earned to ask for a higher fee. A good law practitioner in family courts must well loved by the court staff, so that if are going to ask favor from them, they would readily give. http://filipinaroses.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
