Booking a flight to London from Manila

What is the easiest and cheapest way to book and pay for someones flight from Manila to the UK?
I want to travel to Philippines at the end of November and then travel back with my friend on the same flight around December 20th.
The travel agent here said that to book the flight to London from the UK is alot more expensive, so book it in Philippines. But i really want to make sure that we are both on the same flight to London.
I could easily book my flight now with Cathay Pacific for example then my friend may find the flight fully booked by the time she gets to do it. Plus where is the best place in Philippines to book a flight to London?

If your friend has the appropriate visa, get her to book it now in Philippines, you can transfer the money and make sure she has your flight details in order to try and book on your Flight No.!
