Yes, it looks great in theory Les. Problem is, it's not compatible with ANY previous games or accessories. Some people have steering wheels for instance that cost them £400...no good for the Xbox1.

I've only just bought a new 250gig latest generation 360, so I'll be sticking with it for quite a while yet. ...and there's my (excellent) wheel and pedals, which are microsoft, and unobtainable now.

I am a sony man and love my ps3,I mainly use it to stream my Blu-Ray movies from pc-the ps4 I was going to get have done the unthinkable and removed that facility (to get you to subscribe to netflix etc)
Plus we will now have to pay to play games online (as xbox)
Many people have cancelled their sony pre orders and I may switch to xbox one
I will watch the launch and make my mind up then.
Sony greedy .....!

Totally agree Les. It's pure greed by both Microsoft and Sony. They evidentally feel they can do what the hell they like because of the lack of competition. Perhaps this will generate some.

Xbox online (car racing) is totally useless now too. I don't know what's happened there. Thank goodness I had chance to find out for nothing, with the free 1 month's membership that came with my new Xbox.

A lot of the gamers will just go over to PC...those who haven't already done so.

I am a pc fan always have been,graphics so much better with high end pc.(plus my games are free)
It was nice though to sit in my armchair playing need for speed on my big screen tv-i will watch and see what happens though.

Yeah, though the graphics ARE really good on the latest games (like the one I posted, which is HD on the TV). It's just youtube low quality that makes them look crap.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag for the Pc with be released the same day as xbox one and ps4 and if i remember correctly it will be in HD ? unlike the xbox 360 or ps3 version.

Very nice too-I hate it when I have to sort someone's pc out and screen full of crap-I usually put them all in a folder and nearly give them a heart attack when I joke I've deleted everything
