These 2 cohorts were at the head of Murdochs right wing gutter press
The levels that these people would stoop to just to get a story was disgusting
Camerons x press spinner Coulson just proved the links between the gutter press and the Tory party
I hope they both get many years

Murdochs Right wing gutter press....... there was me thinking his stable of papers supported Labour 1997 - 2009 ?

Strangely enough this period coincides with when Labour abandoned their working class voters and sucked up with honours for cash to the City Fat Cats and Bankers.

It's great to see these people in the dock and having a taste of their own medicine, with their private lives exposed.

Hopefully they'll get found guilty and spend some time behind bars!

You're right on that one Ded. The first time that slimebag ever backed the Labour party which just about sums up Tony Blairs socialist credentials
The story goes that Murdoch done the dirty on Major because he wouldn't change policy on Europe. I believe Majors version of events.

Most people would regard "The News of The World" and "The Sun" as Pro Tory newspapers

Murdoch backed the Labour party for a short time only because he realized at that time and with Thatcher still fresh in peoples minds that the Tory party had no chance in being elected

    1997 - 2009 a short time ?

I suppose Mrs Thatcher must also shoulder the blame for Murdoch binning Labour in 2009

Murdoch likes to be seen as backing a winner and he likes to inform us THE SUN newspaper helps to get these parties elected

    Blame Thatcher for
Massive Gas and Electric bills now
    High water bills
    High Rail fares
    No social housing
    Rocketing house prices
    High monthly rents

I put it to you that privatising the countries utilities has been of no benefit to the people of this country
Selling of the countries assets was a typical Tory move to add more wealth to the people who fund the Tory party

I've seen a poll on the news, 70% of people want the Trains nationalized, also water, gas and electric supplies nationalized again.

how many houses could you build for £42billion
    at £50,000 a house that's 840,000 new houses

As per my pic above Labour was obviously gutted to lose the support of The Sun . As regards your blame Thatcher list - what did Labour do about any of these issues during their 13 years of shambolic rule when they weren't schmoozing with the Bankers and City Slickers ?

Nor am I arguing with the fact Joe Mrs T wanted to do away with them and rightly too- but Labour champion of the poor did naff all about it. Lack of funds what about the £ zillions Bottler and Blair wasted on foreign aid, crap NHS and BBC computer systems, overpaying a vast NHS and public sector bureaucracy, pumping billions into the scroungers benefit system etc etc

why rightly so, where would people who don't have £10,000s for a deposit going to live, the old or unemployed
would you rather they live on the streets like the roma you keep calling or in ghettos like in the Phils

what about the money the tories have wasted, HS2 £42 BILLION

Have the coalition Govt really spent £42 billion on HS2, how many metres of track have been laid ? My point is the billions that the last administration didn't spend in 13 years on social housing. What about all the hardcore socialist Northern cities Newcastle, Hull, Nottingham etc why didn't they spend millions renewing their housing stock ? Labour were too busy on cash for honours sucking up to the city

I don't want more social housing built so scum bag single mothers, druggies, shoplifters, baby machines, Roma, illegal immigrants etc can abuse it. I'd like to see private enterprise build basic concrete hostels with bare walls, no internal doors etc - stick the scum in there and let the local authorities pay the minimal rents. The decent houses could then be reserved for decent British people.

I'm sick of the handwringing do-gooders allowing the tail to wag the dog in our once fine country

dedworth there are many people who live in council houses, more likely housing trusts these days that are decent working people, but don't get paid enough to buy their own property

But the filth still get those houses Joe - don't you remember the other year that Neighbourhood Watched programme about all the anti social undesirables living in a fair number of decent (and in some cases brand new) properties. The whole system needs changing so that only decent law abiding folk get them
