Britain increases Philippine Aid to £10 million & deploys warship

He said HMS Daring would travel "at full speed" from Singapore, as would an RAF C-17 transporter plane.

Mr Cameron, addressing business leaders in the City of London, added that UK aid following Typhoon Haiyan would be increased from £6m to £10m.

I'm pleasantly surprised we have a warship out there to send. With the cuts to the Royal Navy I wouldn't have been surprised if we'd had to offer to send a rubber dinghy (Presuming it was our turn to share it with the French), but anyway.
