    A British man, his partner, and three-year-old daughter are among those missing in the Philippines in the wake of Typhoon Haiyan, reports claim.

    Steve Joe..this is so terrible. Philippine Gov via the UN are stating 4460 dead but, the UN state 25,000 are listed as missing. I just heard this on BBC news

    I fear that with so many places still out of contact, and so many collapsed buildings, it may well be nearer that figure Mark. :( (Thanks, by the way).

    if he was in that hut in that location when the typhoon struck he would pretty much have died for sure .all the properties were pretty much wiped out along that stretch.very sad if he did,nt make it ,what is worse is that they are burrying hundreds of bodies that have not been identified ,which means this poor family could be amongst them .

    Like you said Brian...these poor souls won't be ''listed as missing'' ....whole families wiped out
