You do make me smile Andy defending the undefendable- the Tory MPs in your link voted for the bedroom tax because they want to save public money by not having large taxpayer subsidised social houses given to people who don't need all the bedrooms. There are deserving cases out there eg so called "Asylum Seekers" and Illegal Immigrants in desperate need of such properties
However it is rank hypocrisy for those Labourite MP's referring in their numerous rants and speeches to the tax as "hated" then not be bothered to turn up in Parliament to debate and vote on it.
