Landlord letter

Hi everyone! I just want to ask. My sponsor landlord write a letter for him allowing me to stay my husband flat but his dated it November 25,2013. The question is we're going to apply my spouse visa this coming January 2014.. Is the would ok? Thanks

We are nearly done gathering our documents but they said all docs should be 28 days before applying ..he get letter now because his landlord is going to holidays

I stand to be corrected, but the way I understand the immigration rules is that only financial specific evidence relating to a period which ends with the date of application, must be dated no earlier than 28 days before the date of application.
So basically this would be latest bank statements/payslips/employers confirmation letter etc.

So that landlords letter relating to accommodation will be fine.
