My Wife did hers in Luton last month and it was pretty straightforward. They did 1:1 training and when they thought she was ready they did the test and she passed.
All in we had to pay £250 including the training but we got the certificate the following week which was good..

I dont think its too hard - lots of videos on YouTube showing what you have to do so take a look;

My wife has recently sat hers, but unfortunately did not gain he B1 result.
