Yes, I read about it this morning, Noel. Another tragic loss of life.

Haven't heard of the guy before now but ... it's ironic to think of the number of young people who might still be alive today had it not been for accidents involving cars.

On the other hand, though ... ... there're probably a lot more folk - those in urgent need of medical treatment, for example - still ALIVE today, who would've died were it not for the availability of motorised transport.

He was taking part in a fundraiser for the Philippines typhoon victims at the time too.

Oh, and he was a passenger in the car, not the driver.
