Who do you get in touch with about these bins, i was lead to believe that these must be taken off the pavement and only brought out on the bin day,
why do people just leave them out so the wind can blow them up the street and there is rubbish everywhere,
what would happen if them blow into your car who would pay for the damage, i have just picked up 3 bins but i am not picking up the rubbish, and yes the people whos bins they are just rent the house too
I was driving along a 60mph country road this morning in the dark and I counted at least three of those bins that had been blown into the road.
our bin/recycle men pick the full boxes up from where ever they are left down my road... then when they empty them they just chuck them down on the road!

Mine is waiting outside now...always a novelty for the bin men.
It usually takes a few weeks to fill it, cos I'm so tight-fisted.
I was picking up bins yesterday, with a bit of forethought the bins would be no problem, stupid people!
The bins actually belong to the local council, you just fill them with your rubbish at which point it becomes theirs and they collect it.
My thinking is they want that sort of bin, not me, so as far as i am concerned it stays on the street and not on my property.Where i live now (East Sussex Wealden council) we currently have 3 large wheelie bins and one caddy, which takes up quite a bit of room. Hardly suprising people leave them on the road.

well i complained by email to the council and had to give all the details and they have got back to me today and are going to look into it, and before you lot say it, WHICH BIN, i have beaten you all
Dustmen, of course - like every other Tom, Dick and Harry (or even Harriet) in these modern times of equal opportunities - have now been allocated a posh new job designation. They're called ... wait for it ... 'Refuse Collection Officers'.
Quite appropriate, really... means they can:
refuse to uplift household rubbish - unless it's pre-bagged!

Well I wouldn't want to live anywhere that people leave wheelie bins out on the street, surely you should have some self pride and keep your share of the road you live in very neat and tidy like your house should be, I polish my wheelie bins once a month and they look brand new!
