A young father who paid £450 for what he thought was an Xbox One on eBay was sent a photo of the new console instead.

i thought they bannedlistings like these
i just bought an xbox360 for littlejoe off ebay, getting chipped next week![]()
The new one is a right ripoff IMO, and the old games, many costing £30-£40 each, will not play on it.We have about 600 quidsworth here in our house, and that's without my steering wheel and pedals, plus about 10 controllers, which are not compatible either.
I have just bought a new 250gig 360 at a great price.
They can stick the new one.
I very rarely play the 360 that I have here. It will get one hours play every month or so then thats it. I did have fun playing GTA5 a couple of months back, but completed that in 3 weeks.
Couple of mates have ordered the new one which one gets as a christmas present and the other gets on the 16th due to no stock anywhere!
I cant justify paying out £400-500 for one when I am getting married in June/July.... I think she will kill me if I say I am short on wedding funds but I have a brand new xbox one and games which cost around £50 each!
A decent PC connected to your TV pisses on any console
Plus games are far cheaper
I'm getting fed up with cowboy sellers on Ebay and Amazon. I don't even buy much off these sites but when I do, a lot of time the items are either poor quality or the sellers try and shaft you.
Bought an item of clothing off Ebay and to be fair it was a decent purchase so I ordered the same item but of a different colour. The quality was nowhere near the previous item and the zip broke after a week.
Bought five energy saving "long-life" R50 bulbs off Amazon. One didn't work and came in tampered packaging and one lasted about a week. Sent the seller an email to explain this and received an email a few days later saying they'll respond in 24 hours.
They never did so I left them negative feedback a few days later.
An email rapidly reached my inbox with a promise of replacements bulbs and a request to remove the feedback. The bulbs arrived the next day. As for the negative feedback I sent - well, that remained.
Serves them right for trying to rip me off.![]()
