Excellent thread, Alan! Also, ... it's almost as though the politicians themselves suffer from one or other of the aforementioned afflictions, since it seems they've a habit of "forgetting" to actually do anything about either.

Btw ... sorry to read of your aunt's recent death (albeit from an unrelated illness).
