Philippine airlines - still waiting on refund since about 3 months!!

hi gang

hope yer all well.

I tried booking a flight to Manilla about 3 months ago.

Just after inputting my credit card details, the PAL website timed, a couple of days later I received a flight confirmation, but I had already booked a separate flight in the meantime.

I have been onto PAL airlines and they said I would receive a full refund, however i am still waiting to receive the money.

I have tried contacting them, but no one has replied to any of my emails since about 3 weeks now....

My girlfriend is in Manilla and I am in London.

My girlfriend has gone into one of their shops/offices in Manilla, and they said they will contact me shortly, but still nothing!!!


Has anyone every experienced anything like this?


Any help would be great.

You should have had confirmation within a few hours not days.

I'd keep bombarding them with emails and send your gf back to their offices if that's possible.

Agreed, start a claim process with your credit card issuer.
Be glad that you live in a country which has fairly decent 'Consumer Rights' procedures when you see how Filipinos get treated with such contempt by the commercial world there.
