What makes this horrific story even more stomach churning is the fact that the two women jailed at the same time were mothers of the victims

I just can't understand how this person could have done what was described, beyond comprehension!

The best thing would be if he is locked up with absolutely no contact with other human beings. This would eventually drive him completely insane (although i think he is already) and probably result in him reflecting on the evilness of his crimes and hopefully taking his own life. that would save us all the cost of keeping him alive and hopefully nobody could be blamed for killing him.
