    Oh dear....very sad news indeed.
David Coleman was a true legend among sports commentators. Easily recognisable voice and style.
Very interesting guy and so respected and trusted. Bet he had some great untold stories
    RIP David Coleman

Fantastic commentator and of course immortalized in Private Eye with Colemanballs.
I still remember his classic during the Olympic Final with the great cuban runner Alberto Juantarena
“And there goes Juantorena down the back straight, opening his legs and showing his class.”
    RIP David Coleman

    David Coleman

Tribute has to be paid the man who started Colemanballs, the man who they are named after, the one and only David Coleman.

Unlike Hanson & Lawrence, Neville is employed by Sky Sports as a commentator/analyst, not a pundit. He has a monotone voice, which is a no-no for commentators.

Yea fair comment but he is not a commentator as in the true sense, of course you think I'm biased but he has good knowledge and makes some valid points without shirking away

    RIP Mr.Coleman.

Almost like the passing of an old friend...and he could speak English correctly. How standards have dropped.
