None he's a member of the judiciary :-

"The woman’s family produced an opinion from a local doctor claiming that she did understand what marriage meant, but the judge said he ‘may have had some connection with the family’ and the doctor is now under investigation by a medical watchdog over the report."

I wonder where & what medical training the "local doctor" received ?

    its a woman judge dedworth

well dedworth its their opinion, and you can get capacity assessments from a number of psychiatrists and psychologists and they could put what they want, as its 'THEIR' opinion (thou no doubt in some cases their opinion is influenced in someway)

this story is at least 2wks old dedworth

    That's a particularly nasty story.
I know they are immigration cases but something else has to be done here. Sick including the stepfather
