I am looking for a better way to send money to the Philippines

£5.50 up to £10,000. In 2010/2011 when the charge was £5 I sent two large amounts £7000 & £5000 and each were £5!

It was before Feb 14 when my transfers took place because Feb 14 2011 was the date of my flight to Philippines, but having said that I was not aware of changes in transfer charges above £1000 because all amounts since then have been less than a £1000!
