FLR(m) questions

Now that we are married we need to switch Mizels visa to the FLR(M).
Is it best to change her passport to my name first or just switch visas using her maiden name and current passport?
How many pieces of proof of address will we need ,as UKBA site seems to only account for applying after 2 yrs,not after 6 month fiance visa?
Just as with Fiance visa we don't want to leave anything to chance. Mizels fiance visa expires on 27/04/14 but we'd like to get this sorted asap.

There's no mandatory reason to update the passport name.
The FLR(M) form requires the name on the passport. Quite honestly I wouldn't waste limited time updating the passport.......there's really no benefit.
The major benefit IMO is in securing FLR(M)/Spouse immigration status as a priority.

There's no requirement to provide any additional independent proof of address/cohabitation above that declared to in the form and indicated on submitted bank statements, building society savings books, pay slips etc

Thanks Terpe. We'll wait to change names at a more convenient time and just concentrate on the visa for now.
