Hmm, cathay isnt a lo-cost airline though, so it still represents a 30% reduction in lo-cost flights on the route, plus cebu pacific flies return at 6am which is not so convenient. Really messed up my travel plans. So can now either travel at 6am which effectively means losing most of a nights sleep, fork out double for cathay, or add 4+ hours to the journey to fly via manila.
