    new computer

Well has the time come to buy a new laptop, there are some programs that i am wanting and they say my laptop will not be able to work them,

My old acer has done me well but its not powerful enough, they say i want quad core or something like that and lots of memory too.
I am wanting to get the latest vision of photo shop for my pictures, and really i have no idea of what i need, so what are your thoughts

4 Core, 8GB Memory, at least a 500GB Hard Drive. Nvidia or ATI graphics card (do not buy memory shared graphics).

How much do you want to spend?

Watch out for screen sizes, as some are a rip-off.

Post on here what ones you fancy, and we'll tell you how crap they are!

I've had a 6-core for about 3 years . I'm waiting for the 6 or 8 cores laptops to appear before getting a new one.

Whatever you do, never buy a computer from PCworld or any other high street store, they are a rip-off.
