His bar (Midnite Rock) is about halfway along Perimeter road.

Yep that's the one. I often go there... it's not too far away from the gentlemens club.... Dave certainly knows how to put on a good show.

Graham, do you go to Diamond when you're there? There's a bar called the British Legion owned by a good friend of mine from Muswell Hill, London. Funnily enough, his name is Dave also.

I know Diamond subd, but never really went out in the evenings there, so I'm afraid I don't know the bar. I'll take a look next time.

.Interesting scenery in the Philippines...on our way to Dagupan, from the bus. The volcano Mt.Arayat (near Angeles City). 3,366ft high doesn't sound that much, but when it just sticks up out of a flat plain, in isolation...pretty impressive !
