Yes of course Philippines is hot and humid. That's the way it is in these locations on our planet.
Here in Davao city the months of April and May can be very hot, but there are always certain areas that offer cool, clean fresh air.
We spent quite a lot of time in higher elevations of Compostela Valley and the differences are remarkable.
A few days ago we spent time around the area of Eden Nature Park just outside Davao City.
We even looked at buying some land at Eden Ridge.
At 3000 ft above sea level the climate is very cool with clean fresh air and the views are beautiful.
Even living in Marikina City, Manila, it's so easy to find cooler climes within easy reach.
Even apart from climate conditions, living here in the Philippines is not for everyone.
If the culture gets to you then you can be sure the weather will only exacerbate things.
I'm still creating my own world my way, but I'm able to manage the major differences in culture and climate without any major issues.
