We had rain forecast, all we got was light rain - first for 7 months more forecast today - but we have blue skies, so if we have no heavy rain this winter, we will suffer badly next year.

Early this morning a little frosty being a typical autumn morning, warmed up a little later on and it's been cloudless all day, very nice!

    You were quite right Michael.
It's been cold, wet, dark, windy and an all together miserable day.

Autumn is here. We had an extra month of summer this year. Hopefully, the winter is mild and spring comes early.

Doesn't the length of this thread show you how sad Brits are when it comes to the weather?

Doesn't the fact that you've commented make it even longer and sadder

Oh bugger, I think I've just made it sadder still

Cold torrential rain from black skies here.
Looks like it's not going to clear up ...ever.
My visit to the Philippine Embassy will need to get rescheduled.

Here for us, it's pretty much the same story as the past 3-4 days.
On the positive side the breaks in the rain are getting longer as are the duration of downpours.

    Quack quack !!

Frosty start to the morning but turned out to be a beautiful morning, looks as though the sun will be around most of the day
