A pleasant 28C and sunny here
A pleasant 28C and sunny here
A holiday is a holiday, no work, just trying to keep Ems fed and me happy clicking away even in the rain. If you are free anytime this week, how about a drink and a chat?
That's nice, not too sure here, lying out just in pants, so it's warm enough
That's a date Fred, shall I wear a red rose so you know it's me?
Very, very windy and wet this morning!
It was 18C this morning here in the boonies. The wife was wearing a fleece jacket earlier
No rain either, which is a pleasant change, as we haven't had a full day without rain since November
Cool breeze all day here. No sign of the forecast rain.
We had a very successful day and accomplished everything we needed to do.
Including a visit to the hospital as my wife still didn't recover from her fever and cough.
Two x-rays and two consulatations. All clear thanks God so just take the meds and antibiotics.
Actually managed to get her into a jeepney She enjoyed it (to a point) but complained it was hot.
I told her to put her head out of the window opening
2 degrees at the moment but nice and dry with a slight fresh breeze!
Not too bad a day really.
I'd rather have it cloudy when I busy.
I been here for 2 months now and still find it very tough to do much physical work.
Beside which, the low cost of labour is just too tempting.
29 and sunny here today, 5 and sunny according to the forecast for tomorrow
2 degrees at the moment also a covering of snow/ looks like 30 degrees for us tomorrow!
I'm guessing that Simon, you'll be arriving to UK tomorrow
and that Michael, you'll be arriving to Philippines tomorrow
Bon voyage both
Yes, Michael, it was a very kind suggestion.
I researched it the very next day. To be honest, it's a very difficult route.
I don't want to say no at this time. But I doubt I can find a reasonable way.
I'll look at the possibilities again once my wife has recovered.
In the meantime, have a wonderful trip and I hope you'll get an internet connection there in Siquijor and stay in touch on the forum during the quiet times.
(Means Philippine time Hehehe)
I understand Peter, no problem. Hope your good lady recovers soon. Also, with reference to internet in Siquijor, don't know, but Phone signal is terrible (we have to walk partway up the mountain to get a connection) but will try. I'll ask Maritess to try internet on her iphone.
Bon Voyage to our intrepid travellers ... in BOTH directions tomorrow.
