I hate to say it but it would be nice to experience a bit of that frost

Our rainy season will continue for a while.

I was on my way to our local convenience store and just 20 or so metres from a transformer that got struck by lightning this evening. What a bang and what a scare.

The supermarket was blacked out and the doors stuck shut. Lots of faces at the windows and glass doors looking scared too, including the security guard.

I turned around quick and got my stuff at a sari-sari store.
Then on the way home the local INC church got hit just as I passed by.

Unbelievable really. I went back to the sari-sari store for a couple of bottles of San Mig to celebrate my good fortune at still being here to tell the tale.
