I don't believe any of these figures, but if it helps cheer the country up and creates jobs...all well and good.

They could create a few thousand cleaning up those flooded places down south...and then putting all those houses on stilts.

If it was some mouldy old cathedral or castle needing saving, or an international sporting event, there would soon be funds and manpower available.

There's a lot to be said in favour of karaoke singing. I'm a big fan.

We may not be the best singers in the world but the good news is that singing releases endorphins!
Those are the "happy hormones" that make us feel really greeeeeat!
Apart from releasing stress and tension, singing helps exercise our lungs. So please be my guest and sing.
