Minimum earnings threshold for EEA migrants introduced

maybe there will be more big issue sellers now

Migrants from the European Economic Area (EEA) who claim to have been in work or self-employed in order to gain access to a wider range of benefits will face a more robust test from 1 March 2014.

    I've stopped caring.

Seems if they can't suck money out of our benefits system they'll just rob it from us...or both.

The stable door has been left open far too long already.

Notice there is nothing to say they won't be eligible to claim the child related benefits. This is surely one of the biggest draws.
Come here, you have 10 kids, the child benefit can be shipped back to your village which resembles the opening scene of Borat and is like a kings income.

So in other words, it's nothing but lip service to the problem.

Or maybe this doesn't really happen and it's all made up by the Daily Mail, at least this is the case according to some guy on Radio 4 I was listening to on Friday. No idea who he was, but he had a southern counties middle class voice, and by the tone I'd say he was at least in his late 50's. In other words it's unlikely they will live next door to him, so we're all bigots for pointing such things out.
