Ah ... *thread. If I may say so, all who've - including myself - can truly empathise with your situation.

Alas - as my friends have explained on *it - the Immigration Authorities tend to be rather less than sympathetic towards those who overstay their visas - irrespective of whatever personal circumstances causes them to do so - which is why, we in turn, really MUST urge you, most sincerely, to follow the advice they've offered on your other thread.
