I did a search on this before i posted this up. There was one thread about banking and ACR but it did not quite answer the question i have but helped a little.
I got a sms from the bank, Allied / PNB, in Cebu saying that i need to send them my ACR ( Alien Certificate of Registration. I had no ideal that i am looking for in all my paperwork that i have here. I found no Alien Certificate so i googled it and i found that i can only apply for the ACR in the Philippines. Now how am i suppose to have this ACR and send them it to them?
I also got told that when i was in at the UK Embassy when i exchanged my NCI a few years ago i would have been given one then!!!. This i can not remember getting, only getting the equivalent to the UK NCI so we could get married.
So i am thinking i do not have a ACR and i can not get one as i am in the uK and it take 2 weeks to process one if i was in the Philippines.
I am not residing in the Philippines at the moment and from what i have read i can not see anywhere that i need to have one because of my joint account i have with my wife.
