May I ask, why didn't you apply for ILR before your spouse visa expired?

I'm not sure how many days are given as a grace period, but yes you can apply another spouse visa in the Philippines if I'm not mistaken. But surely, you could've been in a better situation if you apply for an ILR before your spouse visa expired.

I ran out of time coz i was in dubai for 3months, and wasnt planning on returning to uk. But my husband had to return to uk unexpectedly .
