Exclamation Rochdale coma woman Sheila Holt told to 'find work'

An "unreserved apology" had been issued by the government to the family of a woman who was sent a letter encouraging her to find work even though she has been in a coma for two months.

Can anyone tell me where it's all gone wrong ?

I mean, where's the bloody common sense......who's responsible? Get rid of them for total incompetence.

Some 38% of fitness-for-work decisions are overturned on appeal, according to the Public Accounts Committee.

I just believe it's all wrong, you should be chasing the people who are fit, get them to work, not them that are not fit. It's outrageous."
    I agree with her father.

Sadly, this government - like no other - lacks compassion in it's drive to reduce the costs of benefits. Even the dreaded Maggie never had the blind and wheelchairs taking part in demonstrations.

I think everyone understands that there is a need to tighten our belts for a while but it's obscene to penalise those who need our help the most.

I honestly believe that this lot are just going after the soft targets. The Immigration statistics released yesterday are IMO the main cause of a lot of our present problems and strains on the public purse.

It seems obscene to me that they penalise the weak with benefit caps, bedroom tax and work capability assessments and yet do absolutely nothing about the 000's of freeloaders arriving at our borders every week.
