Anyone from Leeds?

Been here last 13th of February 14. Just wondering if there's anyone in this forum that are in Leeds or in Rothwell in particular.

Oh dear, nobody has replied yet !

So sorry about that.

I'm sure there are lots and lots of Filipinas in your area. I believe there is a Filipino Social Club in Leeds...as well as the usual places of course...Catholic churches and Hospitals and care homes !

Try googling for Filipino clubs in Leeds area. There is a 'Barrio Fiesta' every summer for Filipinos (and partners). This year it is at Ripon Race Course. I went last year, and also to the ones in York before that.

If you look on youtube for Yorkshire Barrio Fiesta, there are some vids there, to give you an idea of what it's like. A great day out.

There used to be a Chinese supermarket at the top of Vicar Lane in Leeds, incidentally, near the car park, where you can find a lot of Filipino foods....and maybe meet some other Filipinos.

Good luck in finding some friends, and hopefully some members local to you will notice this thread now.

We went to a filipino store in Harehills, we found it from google I just need to have friends but I know I will find soon I just need to go out a lot though hehe

Hi Lay, welcome to the forum. I frequently go to Leeds but just in the city centre for my exams. You will eventually find some in time. It took me a year to find a filipino community in Halifax.

Thanks for the welcome, it's freezing here hehe! I already joined a forum in fb called Leeds Filipino Community, I'm sure there's a lot of very nice fellow men there just haven't found yet.

I am in Rothwell, we're like 30 minutes away
