Thinking of giving up work

It is upsetting that my 8 days holiday off work will go to waste

Why will they go to waste ?

If you're leaving a job, surely holiday pay due will be added on to your final pay cheque .

I apply 4 weeks ago to have a week off for Cheltenham as my other half is having his week off as well but they won't give it me as March is fully booked. So, there is no other way I can use them. They won't pay nor added to the next set of holidays. Really upsetting I had a word with HR and they said its my fault for leaving it too late only option is talk to the Manager then to the General Manager. I had a word with the manager today but it only go down for me leaving it too late. Not going to the General Manager as its not worth fighting for. Fed up chasing people at work and they do not even give you options at least.
