Surely if money is an issue why go to the expense of marrying in the UK. I'd have thought it be wise to marry in the Philippines. They'd save a fortune. It would make sense to all. And hopefully wipe away any suspicion.

I don't think we know it all as yet coz we don't actually know what time her fiancé has been with her. That might give a clue as to why the authorities think the relationship is not genuine.
