Good for you NHS slots are few and far between where I live.

Being the generous guy I naturally am, I'd rather the deprived folks take those British tax payer funded options, which was the original purpose of setting up the NHS in the first place.

Okay, I stand corrected. .it was set up for everyone, rich or poor.

Times have changed somewhat since those days.

I prefer private. .without going over old ground again, with my experiences the treatment is by far superior be it at a hefty premium.

Even worth the expense of going halfway around the world for it. This coming holiday and the female company for the duration is an added bonus

I had a tooth pulled once by the NHS.. They stuck the needle straight in my gum which wasn't pleasant.. When they started pulling it was as Lani described..
The dentist here put on a local anesthesia cream before the needle.. Didnt feel that at all.. He then very gently removed the tooth which was next to my wisdom tooth and it wasnt loose..
    400.00 Pesos!!

That's what I found. ..I didn't like the rough handling, coupled with fact they didn't like 'wasting' pain killing meds.

400 pesos for all that work Definitely more fun in the Philippines

I did say with my experiences, the private treatment is superior. I'm not talking about your NHS practice or anybody elses NHS practice. You should brush that chip off your shoulder, Joe
