    Emirates Cancels Clark Route

http://www.philippineflightnetwork.c...ark-route.html Emirates will be cancelling its route between Clark International Airport and Dubai beginning on May 3, 2014 just 7 months after the route was launched at the start of October 2013. so might affect uk -clark flights

The last flight will be on 3rd May, so if you are booked on this route, double check your booking as some customers seem to have automatically been tranferred to Dubai-Manila without being told.

i guess not as profitable as they thought like the domestic flights with airasia and Philippine Airlines that have been suspended too, luckily Cebu Pac bad and all as they are some say they are have many routes and dont just cancel the route a few days /weeks before your flight

i noticed the prices were still cheap for Clark... i am booked with QR - hopefully they will not cancel this route (saying that i am going to QC so it does not really matter) - i just want competition so the prices are lower

They marketed the Clark routes with EK and QR haeavily here, aimed mostly at the Filipino workers, but the prices from here in the sandpit have always been ridiculously expensive since launch.

I was looking at going to Clark from Heathrow this May....the prices dialaflight were quoting me last week, was the same money I eventually paid for my direct flight to Manila.

If it wasn't for the 4.5h stopover at one of legs, I would of taken it. Perhaps it was a blessing ....I didn't intend leaving the city limits

So when are we going to meet up for a beer in Manila ?

I'll be going to Manila in May on Emirates, but from Manchester.
